embarrassed by the way i look
so last month my sister came to visit with nieces who are 5 and 2. so i was helping the 2 yo with her shoes and had bent over to do so and of course my tee moves so my back is showing and i don't realize. so as i am doing this someone puts their hand on my back and i freeze! (because i have a hairy back (sorry if i have grossed u out) and do very thing i possibly can to hide it), it was my sister and then she says while rubbing my back dunt she have a hairy back. OMG!! i straighten up and knock her hand away at the same time and just stand there looking at her in total shock, just looking at her and then my mum over and over, trying to take in what had just happened and realizing that everyone in the room had just seen it!. i cant even remember what happened next. i wasn't till later that day that all this time, years, my tee as been doing that and everyone as seen it, it shocked and devastated me so much i broke down in tears. i have never felt so embarrassed in my life.
i know it sound stupid but i hate the way i look and am always trying to hide and always praying that no one see and to have someone who is so close to me do, that hurt me so much. i really thought my family knew me well enough to how i feel about.

Re: embarrassed by the way i look
I'm so sorry you were embarrassed, I would be to. Don't feel like you grossed us out. Definatly not gross. It is very hard dealing with this disease. It does horrible things to our bodies.
Have you ever thought of having it waxed or maybe something more permanent like laser removal.
I hope your family becomes more understanding and can try not to embarrass you in the future.
Hope all is well.
